Some game titles take a while to reveal what they're about. Sexy Chicken Girl Kisses Rotten Rabbit Man is not one of them. It's a mouthful, it's strange, and it's pretty clearly not taking itself too seriously. That's a big part of the appeal.
The game is a point-and-click puzzler that describes itself as a parody. It's currently looking for beta testers. If you've ever wanted to be stuck in a bedroom with a mysterious girl while slowly uncovering its secrets, this is your chance.
One Room, Lots of Secrets
The setup is simple. You're trapped in a single bedroom. There's a mysterious girl in there with you. The room is packed with secrets, and it's up to you to dig them out.
Some games want you to save the world. Vital Decisions just wants you to get through one hospital shift without everything falling apart. That turns out to be a tall order.
Vital Decisions is a cooperative emergency room management game that supports up to eight players. It's currently offering a demo, and a beta sign-up is also open for anyone who wants a closer look before launch. The pitch is simple: patients come in, you work out what's wrong with them, and you treat them before the ward turns into chaos.
Diagnosis First, Treatment Second
The heart of Vital Decisions is detective work. Every patient arrives with a problem, and it's your job to figure out what that problem is. You start by measuring vital signs, and when the numbers don't add up, you dig into your medical manual for answers.
Night Train Simulator: Blackout has one of those premises that works right away. You take a train out for an ordinary overnight shift. Then, slowly, the night stops feeling ordinary. A beta is now taking sign-ups, so anyone curious can request a seat before the full release.
The game describes itself as a psychological horror train simulator. That's an unusual pairing. Train sims are usually about precision, schedules and routine. Horror is about breaking routine. Blackout is built on the idea that those two things can pull against each other.
The Night Shift
Most of the setup sounds almost soothing on paper. You run the train, you stick to the timetable, and you keep watching the tracks ahead. It's the kind of repetitive, focused work that simulator fans tend to enjoy.
